Review of Layer Cake (2004) by Harry W — 19 May 2014
A hard boiled, brutal, profane british crime thriller. Mixes laugh out loud humor, witty diolouge and nasty mob violence to spin a wholey original mafia movie. Liken it the the british version of Goodfellas with a blend of Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels and Snatch.
Any time a movie is mentioned with any of those three, Goodfellas escpically, you know your in good hands.
