Review of Lay the Favorite (2012) by Demetre R — 14 Nov 2012

I have mixed feelings about this one. Overall this movie had the potential to be much better than it actually was. Rebecca Hall has an extremely limited amount of acting ability. I understand that her character was to play a ditzy character but she didn't even manage to pull that off.

She was far too over-dramatic to be at all believable. I was also shocked at the performance of Bruce Willis. Usually a class A act in action films, his performance here was at times shocking. Not a terrible movie but there are much better things to watch out there.
