Review of Laws of Attraction (2004) by Manny C — 19 Mar 2011

I'm not opposed to to seeing Pierce Brosnan and Julianne Moore aim for the spirit of Kate Hepburn and Spencer Tracy by playing two rival divorce lawyers who fall in love like the aforementioned icons did in Adam's Rib.

I just wish the script were the least bit exciting or interesting. It's also a nice touch having Sliding Doors director Peter Howitt at the helm, but like I said--the script blows, and it drowns grade-A talent in a heaping pile of banality.
