Review of Lawrence of Arabia (1962) by Paul A — 10 Jun 2010
Well for all it's finer points, this is a masterfully well made film. The only semi-negative thing I have about this film is the Lawrence character himself. He is completely all over the place with his views and motivations, it becomes difficult to feel one way or the other about empathizing with the man.
I don't know. I mean I'm sure that is how things historically went down in the desert, but with it on the screen, it just became a mess. Techincally this is a great film. My gripes with it are just some real nit-picky things.
