Of course, Mr. Peter O'Toole's performance was fantastic, but some websites and groups consider it the greatest movie performance of all time! I have to strongly disagree with that. David Lean made great movies, no doubt to that, but I dont really see why he won the Best Director Oscar for this.
It was a huge big-budget and bold movie to make, but to me the directing itself wasnt so great. But all-in-all, it is a great movie.
