Yes it was amazing and yes people should watch it no matter how long it is. Peter O Toole was scary in it when he starts to build up an army of Arabs and go on a blood thirsty rampage. The directing is fun to look at, but its basically four hours of him riding in the desert.
I hate movies that take forever and don't make any sense.
