Review of Lawrence of Arabia (1962) by Dan D — 11 Feb 2011
I've always stayed away from this one because of the length, but I'm glad I finally sat down and watched it. It's one of the greatest epics I've seen, and possibly the most beautiful film as well.
The story/writing is very good as well. Peter O'Toole gives a mesmerizing, if a little bizarre, performance of a probably gay British soldier who gets off on himself and killing people.
