David Lean spent two years in the deserts of Arabia filming this movie and the results are breath taking. It's like will never be made again. I was lucky enough to see the restored version of this film in a large theater years ago and it was stunning.
Man becomes tiny in the vast emptiness of the desert. Simply a great film.
