This movie's running time (3h 45m) is not suited for the modern world, but if you have the time available, you will find it easier to sit through than most two-hour movies. Lawrence of Arabia is a supremely shot epic, well-paced, and, surprisingly, without one unnecessary scene.
Maybe the only thing holding it back from perfection is that it is somewhat lacking in honesty -- somewhat melodramatic.
