Review of Lawrence of Arabia (1962) by Kristin W — 08 Aug 2011
The cinamatograohy was amazing and beautiful, but the story line and the character of Lawrence are just odd. I will say that the film was quirky enough to keep me watching and that Peter O'Toole did a compelling job playing a manic-depressive.
The dialogue was odd, but in a good, interesting way. But the film was also slow, convoluted, choppy, and full of WTH moments (not in a good way.) The ending was anti-climatic as well. Interestingly, it was an all-male cast.
