Review of Lawrence of Arabia (1962) by Dustin G — 29 Aug 2011
A film so ambitiously conceived and executed that it is truly a marvel to behold. And while I wasn't a huge fan of Peter O'Tool's effeminate portrayal of T.E. Lawrence, the supporting cast is superb.
For a movie that pushes four hours in length, there is so much happening, so much to look at and the story is so well told that it truly feels like it is half that length.
The greatest film achievement from one of the greatest of all directors.
