Review of Lawrence of Arabia (1962) by Trevor R — 31 Mar 2013
This movie feels like an intimate portrait painted on a massive canvas, with Peter O'Toole's mesmerizing turn as the titular Lawrence as the subject. The whole thing is undoubtedly epic, but it's the little moments like the classic bit with the matches, or Lawrence's countless witticisms that stick with me.
A wonderful masterpiece.
