Review of Lawrence of Arabia (1962) by Ted S — 16 May 2013
Masterly filmed. I was amazed at how everything was real. Real places, real sets, and real people. When there are thousands of people on the screen then there are really that many people there. No computers, no special effects, & no visual effects.
The cinematography was spectacular to study also. The actors did a great job at making you feel like it was real. It was amazing to watch. That said, I didn't really care for the ending but it's based on a true story so I guess they couldn't really do too much with it.
