Simply the greatest movie ever made.
It's the cinematic equivalent of landing a man on the moon: Brilliant dialogue, perfect performances, epic art, costume and scene production, and the single most stunning cinematography ever captured on film. And it was all pulled off in the late 50s and earlier 60s! It can never be topped.
"Casablanca" and "Citizen Kane" are amazing classic films. "Saving Private Ryan" and "Schindler's List" are fantastic modern epics. "The Godfather" and "The Godfather Part II" are essential films. But "al Lawrence" is the best of all.
