Review of Lawrence of Arabia (1962) by George B — 02 Jul 2014
David Lean truly was the master of film epics, and accompanied by the seemingly expert debut performance of Peter O'Toole, 'Lawrence of Arabia' sets the standard for its genre. The film easily manages to fill its running time with a constantly evolving story, and at the centre; a fascinatingly complex character.
With beautiful cinematography and impressive filmmaking in general, few others can compete.
