Review of Lawrence of Arabia (1962) by Mark D — 14 Apr 2012

Finally saw this after meaning to for years. I understand now why this was such a big deal when it came out. Quite the spectacle. The cinematography was easily the highlight for me. It was enjoyable enough, if a bit long. Some scenes seemed to go on forever, but then there were others that just happened without explanation.

I remain a bit confused about Lawrence. He was just so...odd. It's hard to believe that people would follow such an individual. He also made some very strange decisions that didn't follow suite with the rest of his actions.

All told, I'm glad I saw it. Time to see what else is on the list.
