Sweeping grand landscapes & Peter Otoole's quirky performance are the highlights of this epic cinematic classic. Yes the restored high definition version does look marvelous with the exception of few small sections of film damage the picture is often great to stunning.
A bit slow perhaps but a grand epic tale with some good performances & exceptional cinematography.
