My all-time favorite David Lean directed movie. It has his granduer, epicness, and attention to detail that makes you believe this is really happening in front of his lenses. A testament to the directors eye for talent, this was the movie that launched Peter O'Toole and Omar Sharif's careers and made them stars.
As an added bonus for history fans, the events if the movie are eerily topical to America's recent history in this region...
