Definitely an epic on the largest scale! It sometimes makes you feel like you are actually watching footage from the battles! Sure, there were points where I started to lose interest or got impatient because of the length.
It deserves its place among the greatest films ever made, but I wouldn't call it a personal favorite of mine.
