Review of Lawrence of Arabia (1962) by Erik J — 10 Apr 2013
Peter O' Toole is remarkably charismatic, the music is mesmerizing, and desert cinematography is astounding. However, its pace is glacial and at over three hours long its just too much to tolerate without any historical context beforehand.
Its easy to see why this is considered a classic, but it just doesn't work for me.
