Review of Lawless (2012) by Borhan K — 07 Dec 2013
Lawless! A movie about the probation of Alcohol. This movie was very slow and it starts off with a bang then you go for an hour full of just back and forth Dialogue.
A slow action Western that is dramatic in nature and a specific cup of tea it may not be everyone's cup of tea. The crescendo of the flick is near the end when the crooked cop kills the town cripple lack of a better way of explaining it. Then his best mate find out and goes on a one man mission to kill the killer cop.
All in all the movie has its moments but for me it's a once off and then never again.
I found it too long and too slow.
Not suitable for the kiddies.
If you want to understand the whole probation thing that happen in the states this does explain it well.
Also the costumes kept on reminding me of Michael Jackson's Smooth Criminal music video and I was wanting to have that in the sound track.
They kept playing this one track from one country bumpkin band that I got annoyed re-listening to the same part being replayed in different scenes of the movie.
