Review of Lawless (2012) by Amanda H — 08 Aug 2014
I really, really, REALLY hate Shia LaBeouf, so I put off seeing this movie for a while even though several people had told me it was good. I finally broke down and watched it today, and just tried to ignore my hatred.
Mostly it worked, because this is a pretty decent movie. It's a little too long and a little too unnecessarily violent- I think it would have been more effective with better editing and more implied violence.
Overall, though, it's pretty solid.
