Antonio Banderas kissing another man is pure bliss. And Antonio, our antagonist, is the embodiment of obsession and possessiveness in this film as the film shows how obsession is the wrong kind of love and can be such a bad thing.
The film also has some themes of homosexuality and transsexuality. There are also some surprising revelations and twists in the end.
