Christian Bale (howl) and Kate Beckinsale are an engaged couple who move in with Frances McDormand who plays his free spirited mother. She's a record producer and is involved with a young singer whose album is almost finished. Things get complicated when Kate begins to feel an attraction to both the young singer and Bale's MOM! Bale is also having doubts because he is succumbing to the charms of a predatory female played by Natasha McElhone.
I don't remember any of their names right now. I saw this last night at 2:30 am so you know, shaddup.
