Another film that proves Christian Bale can pull more than just batman movies. Seriously, who cares about what the box office says people. This film was great as far as Bale's role, Frances McDormand's role and Kate Beckinsale was killer in this one.
Seriously pushes the envelope on relationship boundaries, but is more truth than what some would have you believe today. I wouldn't watch this with younger kids though....there is a bit of nudity in it at times.
