Latter Days (2004) - You know, I could sit here and pick this film apart, but I'm not going to do that. I'm still under its spell and can't speak evil of it. Woven into that movie is a story so powerful that I was literally shaken by the experience of watching it. I sat in the theatre long past the end of it, slumped deep in my chair, simply unwilling to let go of it. It's myth, of course. An entertaining story that ends up taking the willing on a journey into that sweet spot between superficiality and moral commitment. The beautiful boys and funny script are the candy that lures us into a story that passes through emotional chaos and winds up at true love.

I loved this movie.
