Review of Latter Days (2004) by Laura E — 16 Feb 2008
Despite the fact that Wes Ramsey's face could carry any movie, this was a disappointing film. Everything was a cliche, from the black man with HIV to the short-shorts to the wisdom provided by a man on his deathbed.
And it wasn't that the acting was bad, since it wasn't - there's just no way to remedy poor writing and a dull, dragging, predictable story. Joseph Gordon-Levitt, what were you thinking?
