The only thing precious about life is it ends.

A blind man too old to be completely independent is placed in an assisted living society by his son. His relationship with his son is strained, but they love each other. Some people in the neighborhood start mysteriously missing around the woods. The blind old man sees it as his final mission in life to stop whatever is behind the missing persons.

"God don't want anything to do with me, father, and I don't want anything to do with him.".

Adrian Garcia Bogliano, director of Here Comes the Devil, 36 Steps, Riddlebox, Scream the Night, and I'll Never Die Alone, delivers Late Phases. The storyline for this picture is actually pretty good. The special effects and costumes were mediocre, but the cast delivers excellent performances and the characters are very well written. The cast includes Nick Damici, Ethan Embry, Lance Guest, and Larry Fessenden.

"People don't come to places like this to live. They come to die.".

This was recently added to the Netflix queue so I had to add it to my watch list. I thought this was way better than it should have been. I was very excited to see every twist and turn through the ultimate conclusion. I strongly recommend seeing this underrated cult classic to be.

"Good luck with your vegetable.".

Grade: B.
