Review of Late Night (2019) by Mauro_Lanari — 30 Sep 2019
(Mauro Lanari).
What this film has to share with "The Devil Wears Prada" is not clear to me at all. In Frankel's 2006 work there was a plagiarism of the witch Streep against the candid Hathaway, in this case instead we wander around the vicinity of "As Good as It Gets" (Brooks, 1997), that is, in proximity with the anthropological chimera that we are granted a some evolution of our character. A foolish idea so far always refuted but that the grace of script and acting evidence turns into a fairy tale in which for a moment it is comforting to believe.
