Review of Last Vegas (2013) by Todd P — 31 Jan 2014

Like a lot of people, I didn't have very high expectations for Last Vegas, but I was pleasantly surprised. The script is actually quite funny, and has a good amount of heart. The performances are all good, especially Kevin Kline, and I feel like the film does a good job of showing a generation that is often reduced to sterotypes and cheap laughs.

Having said that, there are a lot of jokes that refer to the age of the stars, but considering they're actually quite funny, it's forgivable. It is by no means a classic, but Last Vegas does go beyond the promise of The Hangover with zimmer frames.
