Last Vegas is a pleasant, entertaining, fun, and funny movie even if it takes things a bit to much on the safe side. There were some scenes that were very funny and I was entertained thought the entire film, but with the star power of these actors, I feel like it could have been so much better.

These are probably most of the best actors there are working in Hollywood right now and their talent wasn't given much justice with what was provided for them with this film. The acting is the strongest thing in this film and everybody's just wonderful.

The directing is solid, the script has some flaws, and not nearly all of the jokes work, and the plot is a bit to safe and mellow. The acting is so great here from every single person. Morgan Freeman, Robert De Niro, Michael Douglas, Kevin Kline and Mary Steenburgen all give wonderful, committed performances in the film and it's a pure joy to see all these wonderful actors on screen together.

You can tell they're having so much fun with this movie, and I was so much fun watching them. They were all the greatest things abut this film and it was such a joy to see all of these legendary actors together on screen for the first time.

The directing by Jon Turteltaub is very solid for the most part and confident for the entire film. He had a strong way of capturing all of these wonderful actors doing whatever it is they're doing so well.

From them all being together as friends or when they're living separately Turtletaub captures everything so well and does a great job at directing this film. It's very solid, entertaining and a very good effort by Jon Turteltaub.

The script is the min part of the film that felt the most cliched and muddled to me. Most of the dialogue and lines felt very corny and extremely cliche and I felt that it wasn't thought out so well and kind of just slopped together in no time to get the film released.

It needed some huge improvements made to it and the dialogue was extremely cheesy and corny and that could have also improved vastly and it didn't always work with the film for most of the time. The humor and the jokes in the film worked for a part of the film and some of then didn't work at all.

I'll admit that I did laugh while watching this film and some of the jokes were hilarious. However, most of them fell flat on their face and weren't funny at all. I appreciated the humor and the jokes that did work, but the ones that didn't just really fell flat and didn't work for me or the movie at all.

Also, the plot wasn't so great, either. It was a way milder set, more mellow and toned down version of The Hangover. And while I get that it was full if elderly celebrities, the plot just felt forced and it played it way to safe.

These actors are so brilliant and talented, this movie didn't give them anything great to work with and I felt like this movie could have been way way better with the actors involved with it. But unfortunately it wasn't.

While Last Vegas is a very entertaining, fun, funny, and often enjoyable that features fantastic acting and solid direction it's weighed down by the muddled script, to to safe plot and to many jokes that didn't really work at all.

A decent rental for a rainy day in and nothing really more.
