Review of Last Vegas (2013) by Jack B — 12 Feb 2014

I'm not ashamed to admit it, I like Last Vegas. First of all, it's an all star cast. Any movie with Douglas, Freeman, De Niro, and Kline is bound to be entertaining. I laughed out loud so many times during the movie.

The dialogue is just superb and the hints of sarcasm and teasing between the four is just fun to watch. Any one who says this is a Hangover movie with old people is sorely mistaking. This movie is heartwarming, touching, and is sure to tug at your heart strings.

Douglas and De Niro are especially great and their relationship in the movie is one of the high points. The movie is still filled with the expected Viagra and old people jokes that are funny at times but fall flat.

The ending is nice as it shows all the characters becoming happier people and not just waiting to die. Last Vegas is a great movie for anyone who wants some raunchy comedy or quick laughs but it is also a good movie for people who want to be happy and inspired by people doing what they want to be happy.

While others may not agree, I definitely think Last Vegas is a good movie that should be recommended.
