Review of Last Vegas (2013) by Michael H — 15 Feb 2014

With this great cast you'd expect a clever, funny and first class movie but sadly it's a case of the sum of the parts being less than the whole. There are good moments but the characters are simply never left to explore their roles so instead the flick relies on cheap tit and bum jokes to pad out the obvious and paper thin story line.

You know the end about 15 mins in and then it's just an effort to sit through the banal one liners and one dimensional characters. Pity. It could have been so much more without the cheap lines and lack of character development.

Still worth a watch but only a popcorn movie.
