Review of Last Tango in Paris (1972) by Mike D — 21 Nov 2007
The last "best" performance of marlon brando as the American widow agonizing over the death of his wife by getting into an intense sexual affair with a soon-to-be -married young Parisian played by Maria Schneider.
Bertolucci drew so much inspiration from his mentor, Pasolinni and this is evident in his handling of the character of Marlon. And who will forget the butter?
