Review of Last Tango in Paris (1972) by Sam S — 17 Feb 2008
Undeniably Marlon Brando's greatest performance. The improvisation that made him such a great force and talent in acting goes to a completely new level as the films script is thrown out as Brando improvises with unbelievable intellect and skill every line of the story, weaving a web of sexual passion and sensuous intensity with every breath.
Truly a tour de force performance by brando, just unbelievable as his technical skills as an actor totally transcend to a level of total believability. Maria Schneider also gives nudity one hell of a good name.
