Review of Last Tango in Paris (1972) by Matthew B — 19 Sep 2008
Utterly quirky film on two obsessive people, one obsessive on wanting to just care about nothing and the other who is obsessive about finding someone worthy. It is really bizarre as it follows an unclear plot where the wife's suicide could be a catalyst at times and a conflict at times and you always wonder where these two people wander next.
A very strong film and a daring one too at the same time which was well-acted too.
