Review of Last Tango in Paris (1972) by Louise B — 09 Nov 2008
A movie about sex...the turmoil which surrounds people ..confused and unwilling to except their failure....of lost souls..seeking to find solace of things which excite them..realizing too late that life is alot more then that.
...in this disturbing yet engrossing affair...marlon brando treats us to an act of a man..consumed in grief and trying to escape from the realities which burn inside him...filling his inadequecies by using someone elses failure at setting free from his grip.
.bertolucci makes you wonder and cringe back while he relishes a tale of passion, sex, deceit and frustrations of people searching for answers in all the wrong places.
