Review of Last Tango in Paris (1972) by Melissa H — 17 Feb 2010
A gorgeous film, I loved it. Some boderline disturbing moments from Brando's complicated character at times (who is soo yummy in his prime btw) but his and Maria's chemistry on screen is beautiful.
Excellent dialogue and I love how they keep it authentic with the French as well..that made me happy :) and hearing Brando speaking it was a surprising treat...he's not bad. A true classic with an ending that will forever be contemplated and discussed.
An amazing score too.
