Rather perverse. Seems most of it was improved, what with Brando's penchant for necrophilia and coprophasia. However, I am a fan of Jean-Pierre Leaud ("The 400 Blows"), and he's pretty good in this.
Otherwise, if you see this, you may need a hot or cold shower.
