Review of Last Shift (2014) by Troy R — 12 May 2017
A brilliant horror that delivers without much gore, violence, or dark scenes. The movie is carried by Juliana Harakavy, who plays a rookie trying to prove herself on her first night. Her performance is convincing, and manages to get the audience to genuinely worry about her character.
This is the strongest element of the movie. It keeps the audience on edge wondering what can happen next to the protagonist, and how will she survive.
