Review of Last Ounce of Courage (2012) by David H — 13 Sep 2012
As you can see, not one critic liked this movie, but 66% of the public liked it. Add my voice to the 66%, but then I liked John Wayne and The Green Berets, and I liked Jimmy Stewart and Mr. Smith Goes to Washington, too.
Yes it was unabashedly patriotic and certainly cheesy at times, but it was not bigoted or anti-anything. It was pro freedom, pro American and it values the sacrifice of the young men and women who have given their "last ounce of devotion" to protect our freedom. Oh ya, it says very clearly that it is OK to be an unapologetic Christian and to demand the same religious freedom we grant to others.
Ignore the critics and go see it. I hope it motivates a lot of folks to put a foot down and stop sitting by while our freedoms are taken away one at a time.
