Review of Last Ounce of Courage (2012) by George D — 17 Sep 2012
The production and acting in this movie are fine but what is wrong is the bait and switch the previews pull on the public. The previews lead you to believe it is about patriotism and the military families and it is not.
It is basically a movie promoting Christian agendas like religious activities in public places. Usually I have to fact check lying politicians now it seems I also need to watch out for lying Christians.
Make it clear in previews it is about this Christian agenda and don't lead people to think it is about military families and the sacrifices they make for our country. The movie basically claims we lose our freedom when public places do not have Christian agendas in place like Christmas trees in public offices or bibles in school.
Please, we are all free to practice any religion we want and to make sure that is the case our founders separated church and state. That way no Christian has to go into a Muslim Department Of Motor Vehicles or a Jew to the Christian courthouse.
Again the movie in terms of production, acting, setting, etc. was fine, but this movie is no tribute to our military families and their service as the preview led me to believe.
