Review of Last Man Standing (1995) by Tom D — 03 Jul 2007
The original movie (Yojimbo) was amazing. This is a shadow of its greatness, but even in that shadow, this movie is just awesome fun. Somehow manages to pull off a 'western' style look without being a hammy western, and any time you have Christopher Walken playing a man who burned down an orphanage and killed his parents, you're in for a good film.
I love the tone, I love the style, and I have no problem with hand-guns shooting people seven feet away. its just so cool. Great great film.
