"There's a crack in everything. That's how the light gets in." Bittersweet, bookish drama in beautiful settings: autumnal Luxembourg Gardens, a gorgeous Saint-Germain flat and a seaside getaway in St Malo.
Michael Caine plays a very likeable but (re)tired Philosophy professor from Maine and to a large extent this is a story about an unlikely friendship. My problem is that I don't find the character Pauline very.
Interesting.
