Review of Last Knights (2015) by David D — 05 Aug 2015
It seems people are confused by this movie and I myself spent a lot of it trying to explain the movie to my wife. At no point does the movie say that it is a real country in our history of the world and many people seem to be trying to place it as such.
The closes this comes to matching a real nation in history would be Rome. Rome was not just a bunch of white people as movies about Rome would have you believe. Also, I believe the main point is that the corruption has become so bad that now you have it going on out in the open without fear of being corrected.
The knights decide that they can no longer turn a blind eye to the corruption and must kill the minister. However, I believe the ending was done in a way that they intend on making another movie or implying that this is not the end.
