Review of Last Knights (2015) by Mloy X — 19 May 2016
Bartok (Morgan Freeman): Remember this Raiden - the wounds of honor, are self inflicted.
This film seemed promising enough; I mean both Clive Owen and Morgan Freeman are really good actors. The story (I think) seemed to be loosely based on the old Japanese folklore about the forty-seven ronins. The film was alright, but a bit too slow, there's not much interesting action sequences and the acting from the token "bad guy", Geza Mott (played by Aksel Hennie) was pretty hammy. Overall, it was somewhat entertaining but there was really nothing extraordinary about it.
