Review of Last Holiday (2006) by Chloe S — 23 Mar 2009
This was much better than I expected, and it was cute, but why didn't she spend her last moments with her family and friends?!
I have a small quibble: the crawfish that the chefs add toward the end of the movie are shown RED...that means they are already cooked. Every cajun knows you have to throw in lobster, crawfish, etc. when it's still live, which would mean that they would need to put the seafood in when it was still DARK REDDISH/BLACK. OR, if they wanted to add precooked crawfish for some reason, then they would not throw in the entire body into a soup like that...it would be too difficult to eat, and if they wanted to present them whole, they would probably plate them on top or on the side of the stew/soup. I just thought that this whole thing was weird, and I thought it was weirder that I finally noticed something like this in a movie!
