Review of Last Days (2014) by Metin C — 21 Aug 2007
A brave, interesting look at existential angst through the eyes of a rock stars self imposed, fame induced exile from the world around him. Beautifully photographer with a mournful pace, this biopic is far more inventive and daring than, say, Walk The Line and Ray, whose facimile of celebrity life is as sterile as the needle that kills protagonist Burke. Who may or may not be Kurt Cobain.
One of Gus Van Sants best films.
