Review of Last Days (2004) by Amber P — 16 Mar 2008
Hmmmm.
An artsy fartsy 'interpretation' of Kurt Cobain's last days. If you're expecting a film ABOUT Kurt Cobain, you're going to be sadly confused and disappointed.
Watch this film going into it like it's slow, confusing, and with no real expectations because I think you'll hype it up into something it's not.
Just enjoy it as a nice little art film with a great mumbling F'd up Michael Pitt playing a rocker who's holed himself up in the country side while his band and handlers are trying desperately to get a hold of him to go on tour. Quiet, introverted, on drugs (though I don't think any officially were taken just eluded to---correct me if I'm wrong) totally in his own little world.
