Review of Last Days (2004) by Scott K — 23 Sep 2008
An achingly beautiful poetic film. It realistically crafts a rare moment in time, highlighting everything that is interesting about it, and simply allowing you to feel situation rather than preach about it.
There are so many priceless moments scattered throughout. Michael Pitt's performance is incredible, and his musical contribution in which he performs one of his own songs makes for one of the most poignant and moving moments I've seen in a film.
The rest of the cast is great as well. It's completely enjoyable for me from start to finish, and one of my favorites. A great film.
